Project Hunger
India ranks 111th out of 125 countries in the Global Hunger Index 2023, lagging behind neighboring nations like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and China. Shockingly, approximately 200 million Indians go to sleep hungry each night. Our organisation is dedicated to aiding all those in need. Since the day of inception, we have been able to serve 1.8M+ freshly made nutritious meals for those in need of nourishment and care.

Project CNG
The Indian government launched the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), also known as the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or Clean India Mission, as a nationwide initiative to end open defecation and enhance solid waste management in 2014.
Vishalakshi Foundation has motivated numerous youth nationwide to join us in our Clean N Green (CNG) goal, with incredible outcomes. Till date we have cleaned over 8 lakh kgs of waste and recreated dump-yards into free schools and planted over 700+ trees in exchange.

Project Dream Slum
We’re addressing challenges in India’s slums, where over 65 million people face pollution, inadequate waste disposal, lack of clean water, and unhygienic conditions. Our focus is on creating jobs, improving healthcare, generating sustainable development and ensuring education for all children.

Project Dream School
Every child has rights to development, participation, nutrition and education. At the Vishalakshi Foundation, we firmly believe that every child must have a right to Dream as well. India holds 35% of the world’s illiterate population, with 287 million adults lacking literacy despite advancements. Factors like poverty, lack of awareness, and social barriers contribute to this. To address the issue, we set up Dream School centres in India’s impoverished regions, especially slums, aiming to make a significant difference in many lives. We operate 18 Dream Schools across 9 cities/villages. Aiding children who lack resources and have never been to school or are school dropouts. Today we are working with 2000 children, ensuring a childhood full of happiness and a future full of hope.

Break the Taboo
Slum areas where access to proper sanitation and hygiene products may be limited. Where females do not know their rights and are being mistreated. By conducting Break the taboo drives, we can raise awareness about the importance of health and hygiene and their rights. We aim to educate children at a young age regarding topics such as good touch, bad touch, sanitation, and hygiene.

Saturday Hunger Strike
Youth across the nation skip their one time meal over a Saturday and demand for a nation where no one goes to sleep on a hungry stomach.
This is a silent, non-violent strike for awareness regarding food wastage and hunger in India. We stand in a hotspot with a banner and meaningful message written in it, raising it high.
